Programs

The People's Law School offers  public legal education programs and services to meet the legal literacy needs of people in British Columbia.

Programs and Services include:

Justice Theatre: Professional theatre troupe visits schools providing performances on legal matters affecting youth.

Law-Related ELSA: Public Legal Education Instructors visit English as a Second Language classes as guest lecturers to share information and resources on legal rights and responsibilities.

Media Services and Publishing: Offers public legal education and information in multiple media formats, i.e. radio and television broadcasts, newspaper articles, animations, and videos.

Public Legal Education (PLE) Events: Held at our site or yours. Offers community groups and individuals access to public legal education and information in their community, or at People's Law School. Check out upcoming events on our PLE Events calendar.

Referral Services: We provide public legal education and information and offer referral services to other community agencies and resources.
